Correspondence, chiefly letters to his wife, Grace Elva Fuller Boak, and other materials relating to social life in Tonopah, Nev., including early mining activities in Manhattan and Round Mountain, mining ventures in central Nevada, Boak's campaign to build a memorial to Mr. and Mrs. James L. Butler in Tonopah, his rediscovery of the Lehman Caves in White Pine County, and the establishment of a national monument there in 1922.
